Goal
Youth that are empowered, self reliant and responsible enough to develop themselves, and contribute meaningfully to community development

Purpose
To provide the youth with opportunities, and competencies to be able to sustainable respond to issues affecting them, including poverty

Objectives
• To promote meaningful youth participation and involvement in planning, implementing and evaluating development programmes that affect them. • To facilitate youth economic empowerment and self reliance through community based sustainable livelihood interventions and conscietization. • Promote access to information and support to young people on human rights, HIV/AIDS, sex and sexuality, and health related issues. • To equip youth with knowledge and skills that will promote and sustain individual attitudes and practices necessary for sustainable development. • To build the capacity of the youth development programme.

• Youth leadership Development • Youth CBOs /NGOs capacity building • HIV/AIDS prevention • Life skills • Counselling (Face to face and online). • Sports and cultural activities (Theatre for development on specific issues) • Livelihood activities. • Networking and Collaboration. (nationally and regionally) Community mobilization • Radio programmes (Wachinyamata Wakale and Liwu la Achinyamata)
